What does your engagement ring look like?

For all of those ladies who are engaged or for all of those men who proposed to us ladies.. what does the engagement ring look like?
I just got engaged in August and my future husband got me a beautiful round solitaire diamond. We are currently looking at wedding bands and are just so excited!
Since engagements are an exciting time, I thought people would enjoy describing their ring!

My ring has a big diamond in the middle and two diamonds on either side - I love it!

My husband and his friend picked out my engagement ring all by themselves and did a great job! My ring is a combination of yellow and white braided gold with a marquise diamond in the center. On either side are two small, oval diamonds side by side. When we were looking for our wedding bands we found a set with oval diamonds that matches my engagement ring so my husband agreed to wear that, even though he says it makes him look like a sissy.

Wow! Congratulations! Both of you must be very excited to enter a new chapter of your lives together.
11 years ago, my husband gave me an engagement ring.it was a simple white gold band with 1/4 cut diamond. Since I gave birth to our twin daughters, I wasn't able to wear the ring. It doesn't fit my finger anymore!
But I still keep the engagement ring. From time to time, I still look at it and remember the sweetest memeories of being engaged to the man I love, the man I am proud to be the father of my daughters.

Your ring sounds beautiful! Why don't you put the ring on a necklace so you can still wear it? Just an idea :) Best wishes with your family and twin daughters! How exciting!

I love my ring .. It is .33 in the middle with .17 on each side with 4 smaller dimonds that are side by side on each side of the band. It is absolutly stunning and people as me where I got it all the time. I also will only wear white gold and this ring is only white gold.
