Which do you prefer Coldplay or Radiohead?

In previous years I have been very fond of coldplay but since the discovery of radioheads the bends and pablo honey I am in two minds. I really liked coldplays latest album but at the same time I thought x&y and parachutes sounded quite similar without any real advancement in style. Whereas Radiohead seem to come up with original and different styles. Which one do you prefer?

Thats a tough one I eally liked coldplays new album, those songs where a little more developed than the songs in the last few albums which you said did and probably do sound the same. However there are people who like that aspect of coldplay and that is why they prefer them. However considering your arguments I have to agree that radiohead is the better band is they diversify more and experiment with thier music and lyrics.

I prefer Radiohead over Coldplay anyday. Coldplay is kind of whiny and boring where as Radiohead actually has diversity to their songs.

I would have to say Coldplay. They are outstanding and I really love their style of music. I have all their albums and love to listen to them everyday. Radiohead are good but I do not own any of their albums. I do like some of their songs though.
