Is mylot just another scam?!!

I recently came across a discussion where a guy complained that he made 400 dollars but only received $150 because he was "Scammed". I read the responses and most people who responded said that they have been scammed too. I got really discouraged and I was thinking of closing down my account at first to be safe, but then I decided to start a discussion a get feed back from more people before I closed my account.
So, is mylot really a scam or is it trustworthy? How long have some of you been on here and how much have you made so far?!!
I am feeling a little on edge...so let me know !!!

Welcome to myLot sennawork! You have contributed only 19 posts here in myLot. Yet you have started an audacious discussion seeking the answer if myLot is a scam. Just study myLot and see hundreds of thousands of men and women are posting here.
You must have noticed that some myLotters have even contributed more than 20,000 posts! They have been here at for at least 2/3 years. Do you think that they would have been still continued myLotting if they were scammed? Do you think the myLotters who are here for years are all idiots?
Just keep posting and see your earning grow everyday. When you reach the minimum payout figure of $10, you will be paid on or before 15th of the following month. Wish you best of luck.

Come on dear! Please dont take my words other way and dont be hurt! We are like family members here.
I have used "audacious" because you have used the term "JUST another SCAM". Even though your term was interrogative, yet the use of "just another" must would hurt myLotters who have been earning from here for a long time. There are numerous SCAM websites out there and those are visited by cheated net users only once. But myLotters are visiting this site every day.
Ok. Leave the topics now and let us call a truce and enjoy myLotting. Once again I wish your grand success in myLot.

I have not made an "audacious" discussion. I did not blame or accuse mylot of anything, I simply was unsure of something so I made a discussion to get feedback. Its true that I have only just joined mylot and only contributed only 19 posts, and that is why I wanted feedback. I wanted to know what I was getting my self into before I continued on. That does not sound "audacious" to me, it sounds more like a responsible person who does not want to get involved in something that could harm her.
I didnt ask for you to humiliate me like that, I simply asked for some help!
It would be much helpful if you gave people advice without trying to make them look bad. The information you gave me at the end of your post was very helpful but the fact that you called me out on my "audacious" discussion, made me very discouraged to care about anything you had to say.

I have been here over a year. And I have been paid every time I have reached the minimum payout. There are always those who will say negative things about a site. It really is a shame. I suggest you stick it out and see what happens. Quality content of both discussions you start and answer is what counts. Alot of people who complain tend not to read the rules, Faqs and regulations. They then run into issues, and get upset.
I for one enjoy my time here. And the biggest reason for staying is the people, not the cash. But as with most things, you get out what you put in. Hope it works out for you, that you find something about mylot you enjoy and stick around.

Look at how many post I have. You would have to start posting a lot more to start getting something out of mylot. Another thing is that you have no star. You need a star and you need to respond to more post in order to get more money out of mylot, and it could take a long time to get it.

I have been here about 2 yrs and have gotten my payout when I reached the minimum. The guy you are probably talking about is probably the guy that started a blog bashing mylot because he was banned for breaking too many rules. He is doing everything possible to stop people from joining mylot. Anyone that tries to make MyLot look like a scam are liars plain and simple.

At first I did not read that original discussion you are referring to, but after reading yours, I went back to find that one. The writer never said he was scammed on mylot. He said he was scammed online but did not refer to where he was scammed at. I read through all the responses and looked for anything saying he was scammed on mylot. There are a lot of scam sites online and the writer was probably referring to being scammed on them. I do not really think it is possible to make that much money on mylot that quickly so he had to be talking about other sites. Many people on mylot are also earning money on other sites.
If you look at all the people who have discussions numbered in the thousands, think about it...would they still be here if mylot was a scam? I don't think so. You won't make a lot of money very quickly here, but you will make money. I have made my payout twice. I am slow here and do not do a lot of posting so I don't earn quickly. There are others here who are on this site a lot longer each day and do a lot more writing. How much you make here is up to you. Just make sure you fully read the posts you are responding to or commenting about to make sure you know what they are talking about.

MyLot do NOT pay one cehnt per post!
There is no fixed rate for anything here.
We earn for our overall quallity participation in the discussions, NOT 'per post'

The fact that earnings aren't large is an indication that payments are reasonable and sustainable. You are wise to avoid online pay-per-action programs that offer large amounts of money. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
You could count on the amount of activity on myLot dropping off drastically if they failed to honor their commitments and payout to their members. I reached payout this month, so I will post proof of payment when I receive it around the 15th.

how do you possible make $400 on mylot? Oh I see, by making thousands of posts, right? I have never been scammed, and I did follow all of the rules. I think they just made that negative comment about mylot, just because they wanted to complain that they are not making enough as they would expect. I'm actually happy with mylot, and working hard to reach my payout. I'm enjoying mylot, because I am actually reading some discussions that interest me.

Oh by the way, I have never been paid after joining this community for like 4 months, but that's because I never reached my payout. I do believe that I will be paid by mylot someday.

I don’t know who this guy is and I haven’t read his discussion however I have been on mylot for two months now and this hasn’t been the case. In addition I haven’t made anywhere near that amount and but what I have made so far I have received via paypal.I have a few questions though;
* Over what period has he made that amount. My reason for asking that question is that he would have had a great deal of participation to make that amount of money because I have had to spend almost two weeks of intensive posting to make the minimum amount
* How does he know that he made $400 dollars because this is a formula only known by mylot administrator
* How did he let his earnings get to that amount ,apparently he must have set a large minimum .
My experience and that of a lot of mylotter is in contradiction to his view though. I dont know if it will get to that point but so far it has been good

Currently as of today, myLot is no longer an earnings site for users. Hope this helps clear up the 'scam' issue.

I don't think so. This site has many members who have been around for quite some time and I don't think they will be active if this site is a scam. Also, complaints like yours are really rare.

I don't believe it's a scam. Some people claim it is, but it's been good for me. A lot more people have claimed that it works well for them.
Have a good day.
