What is the best thing that ever happened to you and/or your family? The thing that changed the way you look at your life?

There are many things that changed my views in life. One of those is when my parents got separated few years back. I realized that life's so uncertain, that nothing's permanent. Anything and everything can change in just a snap of a finger.

The best thing that happened to our life was when our house burned down few years ago. Well, of course, at first we don't think of it as a blessings but looking back now, it is the reason the whole family stayed strong together. We appreciate each other more and show care and love for each other. Before, our house is so big, we hardly speak or give comment to one another. We are taking each for granted literally and minding our own life. When our house caught fire, we have to settle to a smaller house and work so that we can have food to eat. Truly in every difficulty you'll find opportunity because after that incident, I feel like we became closer and we now share with each other. More over, we became more mature and independent. Given the chance to choose my life again, I will not delete that part of my life. Even though living have been hard for me the last few years, those are the years that contained my happiest memory. I may not be able to share it with you exactly but I know deep in my heart, it will be my forever foundation for a good life.

My family is the best thing that ever happened to me. They are the reason I do everything I do. They are my support, my sense of humor and all the love in my heart. Before my wife and kids I did not know why I was here. I didn't have any purpose. Oh sure, I had goals and lived my life the best I could, but until they all came along I was unfulfilled. Now I know what I am doing. It feels good to say that.
