What do you do with your extra pennies and change? I try to put it in a jar and then cash it out later at a coinstar or something..I know some people hte change and just throw it away or leave it...discuss

I would never throw money out, no matter how small the amount of money. That is just wasteful. As a matter of fact, I pick up change in the parking lot or on the floor whenever I see it. I don't care what anyone thinks about it either. I think sometimes people put pennies down to see who is so desperate to pick them up. But you know what? I don't care, I always pick money up. I save all my coins up in a little piggy bank and when it gets full enough I take the coins to a Coinstar where they offer free coin counting for Amazon.com gift certificates. I use the certificates for Christmas presents! Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I tend to save all my pennies too (2 pence and 1 pence), then cash it out at the bank after 6 months or at the coin machine. I chose to give the last batch I saved to a charity.
