is my mother a demon?

My mother in law cant stop talking about me. she has never liked me, she has doNE so many things to me, to the point that i had to put a restraining order against her. I got married to her son 2 years ago, she didnt even go to our wedding, she said that if i would married her son she would hate me for the rest of her life. why? i dont know. ive tried asking her why she hates me so much and she says that she never liked anyone for her son. we recently stopped talking after confronting her about her wanting to bring my husbands ex-girlfriend around him to get me jelous and she said to me that the girl was still her friend. i told her that it was fine with me as longest she would not intervene with my marriage. she didnt respect that and she would bring my husbands ex to all the family parties to get me jelous which IT did. now she needs to understand that her son has a wife and a son. so the last thing that i did was write her a letter and i explained how i felt about her and how bad i feel that we cant get along, specially because my son and husband are in the middle of our stupidity! As soon as she read the letter she called my husband to tell him about the letter, she lied about everything, she told my husband that the letter had so many insults. the good thing is that i gave my husband a copy of the letter before i gave it to her. but right now she doesnt talk to me at all and well like i said before my son is in the middle of all this and i feel bad my son doesnt like her and is even scare of her. but now she cries to everyone and tells them that i put my son against her and dont let her see him, which is all lies. what can i do?
