Is there anybody here who knows about PEER Gomez?

I've been recommended by some people to join PEER Gomez but I couldn't understand how it works. I read the FAQs on the site but it still seemed a little vague to me. Could anybody here explain how it works and how we could earn in layman's terms? 
I just need to know if it's simple, safe and legitimate.

I joined this about nearly a month and I'm still a pending member. Its easy just download the software given and set it automatically when you open your computer and log in to the internet. Once in the internet it calculate the time that you're online, this mean the more you're online the more process time you'll get. I don't know more since last month my score only just $0.12 and still a pending member. I think they pay due to some payment proof by other active that I ran into in the net. Maybe I'll just hang in for a while to see when can I be a active member.

You submit this site then login to download its software,then run the software everytime you open the computer.You could not earn at the very beginning and your account is pending.Someone said to keep your computer runs for some days,not stop,then you would pass the verify and be the accepted member of Gomez.I tried over 2 weeks and of course I closed computer sometime,but I'm still a pending member. I gave up. Good luck to you.
