The moon is smiling over me... he he he did you see that. Look out, moon, venus and mars go together and smile upon us, it's like saying MERRY X'MAS.

Yeah I've seen that too when the news had took notice on it we tried looking for it outside to see for ourselves and it was a delightful scene to look at. The fact that Venus is love and Mars is war then the moon smiles was kind of meaningful to what is happening around us.

It is raining here. I can not see the moon. I would like to see the the moon, it is pleasing. Moonlight brings calmness to me. Surprisingly moon does not have his own light, but is borrowed (reflection) of sun light.

oh too bad, there'll be no celestial trio in 2009, wait until 2010 and it will show her smiling face once again. it occurs twice this year. and it will happen again once in 2010, 2011-2014. in other places, they'll see unhappy face.

I and my husband saw the moon when his mom received a text message saying that the moon is smiling. So we ended up grabbing a space in the balcony of the house just to see the smiling moon. It has 2 stars on top of it and the crescent moon seems like a smile. It is very nice and my husband even took a picture of it. We saw it at about 8pm here in Philippines but when I checked it again at 11pm it was already gone. I don't know what is the exact time it was gone but one thing is for sure, since it is December 01 today that could be a great message from God. His birthday is coming and we must be very joyful just like the moon. Who knows that would have been the first and last time the moon smiled upon us? Anyway I am so happy I was part of those who saw it tonight.

yes, it felt so good to witness such kind of magic up there. but don't you worry, the celestial trio will appear again once every year from 2010 to 2014 according to what I have read.

We are here in Australia and we saw this wonderful moon tonight. As you say it is like a big smiley face with the quarter moon being the mouth and the stars being the eyes. It is a good reason to be thankful we live in the country where there are not lots of lights which make it harder to see such magnificient sites. Often in the city you cannot even see the stars because of the street lighting, office buildings all lit up not forgetting all the car lights as well. At least that is the way it is here in many of the bigger cities here in Australia. Also here in Australia it is not really unusual for an announcement to be made on the radio when something like this is to happen. I didn't hear anything at all about it today, so maybe the scientists did not know it was going to happen. That probably means that lots of people will not see this beautiful smile up there in the sky.

Hi! I did! In fact with my kids too.As we were going out from a mall,we hurriedly looked up the sky since we know there will be a great scenery that would happen on this date,Dec 1.Two days ago as I was browsing the news in internet,It said a rare view of the moon,Venus and Jupiter will be visible. So we really waited for it.Wowww, so magnificent! We just stayed at the mall's parking lot for at least an hour just enjoying our brownies while staring at the beautious sky.It was indeed a very heart-warming smiley.Felt so good to witness such smiley in the sky.
