Do you logout after mylotting?

I'm not an expert on this but I can tell you what I do. On my own computer at home which no-one else uses I never log out ever. When I am at work I access the site from the computer there and find I am logged out and no-one could use my account without my password. I think you found this happened because you did the search from your own computer where you were already logged in anyway.

Well I never log out because it's more convenient for me, and I really doubt anyone who might use my computer would also know to go to mylot and have a look at my account. Also I haven't reached payout yet so all they can do is earn me money if they post. Mainly my computer is my own though, only people in my family could potentially use it and even then the chances are slim because it's a laptop and often packed away.

I absolutely never log out of mylot...lol. I stay logged in on my desktop at home, log in when I get to work, log in when I get to moms and from all these I never log out and have never had a problem. I think the problem will only come if someone has access to you personal computer.

Well, I always use my personal computer at home for myLot. I never log out because no one else uses my computer or accesses myLot except for me. I don't know why you would have that issue unless you are using a public computer or a computer at work that someone else might have access to. Have a nice day and happy myLotting!!!

well, in our case, we always log out whenever we're done using the computer. That is what we teach our kids, so whenever they're out especially when in a computer shop, they would not forget to log out. And just like what you've said, it will prevent troubles...

Nope! I dont log out after mylotting. This is my own computer anyway. Its good an no hussle of typing password again when I login to mylot. well, I will what you do... then figure out if its same thing happen to me too.

I never logout from mylot after using it.I just close it.I dont thing it is of any problem of doing like this unlike someone else is going to use the same computer.

Absolutely! Actually, I do so because it's been a force of habit more than anything else. LOL I don't know, even if I'm the only person using this pc of ours, I always log out of every site that I've signed in to. Like I said, it's a habit already. :D It's a good habit too, I guess. Better safe than sorry. Also, about it being an inconvenience of having to log in every time, well, I use RoboForm so that eliminates that hassle. It's safe, encrypted, you only need to enter a code once... but of course, it can make you forget passwords because you never have to type them, it's THAT convenient! LOL

well, whether it is mylot or orkut or gmail. you should always have it your habit to log off any secured site you are working with. this will bring down the insecurity and protect your private information.

I am also having my personal computer at home but this doesnt mean that i am not logg off. Each and everytime i surf i always logg off from that site specifically. There are some very personal things or datas in our computer, so if some of friends come we cannot reject to use the computer. SO there are two main things which you must keep it in your mind one is to log off as you said and secondly you mush lock your secret files with your secret password so that nobody can use it.

I always left mylot without logging out.But I found that would bring me some trouble.Because my roommate got into my profile when she opened my Mylot referral link on her computer.So,now I log out when I leave Mylot.

if its in your own computer i think there is no risk at all. for example if you give your referral link to some he won't go on your profile but on the homepage. but if you use your referral link you will go straight in the homepage with your username logged in. i think the server detects your ip adress.

I do not know if its bother me, maybe you check the auto login every time you open to your account. I didn't try yet. Well I want to try this..

Hii srganesh I think you should log out after mylotting. I never log out after mylotting but when i visit the site again my computer and server ask me to log in! But on my friends computer he can acess his account again and again after exit. You should check your computers settings. since this thing differ from PC to PC

I hardly log out of myLot after using it. I believe the login to the application is tied to the IP of the computer, so even if you try and access a myLot account (which has not been logged out) from another computer with a different IP, you may not automatically get into the account. There's one thing I realize about logged in accounts. Before the last major upgrade of myLot earlier this year, my logged in account (from the previous day) stays logged in even if I rebooted my computer the next day and access myLot application. After the upgrade, the account is automatically logged out overnight. So for example, I use myLot today and didn't log out before I sleep tonight, got out of the browser and turned off my computer...then tomorrow I reboot my computer and access myLot application, my account will be logged out instead of remaining logged in.

I use my office computer for mylotting. Nobody else uses this computer in my absence. So I have never bothered about signing out from mylot. When I open the mylot page I do not have to log in everyday. I have never felt the risk of anyone misusing my username.

Hi, i don't think that without logging out of mylot get any trouble. Just say if you are mylotting and sudden power failure occures then? what can you do , you can not logged out of mylot...and some days before same incedent occures with me...but i think it will not make any trouble.

Hi srganesh. Thanks for sharing something new, which I did not know earlier. I always logout from mylot when not posting or reading. Also I clear the catche as some cokoies are posted by the site. If not cleared still you will remained logged in behind the scene. Anyway once the computer is shut down and restarted, you are already logged out.

I always log out whenever I am finished my sessions with mylot. This is whether I am using my computer at work or my personal computer at home. It's just a habit I Am used to doing.

i dont log out after my lotting because its my personal computer and no one else use it except me.so if there is no one to use then what is the problem.so i just want to request you not to log out if its your personal computer as not to get into any trouble.
