hi adapots, I have never bought a Christmas gift for myself. Only that when my husband and I go shopping for Christmas, we would buy for each other what we want. That way, we alway get what we want for Christmas. :)
I wanted to buy a laptop for myself this Christmas though. But seeing that economy is a bit slow now, so I'd put off the idea since I still have my computer to use. :)Nevertheless, instead of a laptop I will get myself somethingelse. :)

Well, I'm Santa Claus. I'm in charge of buying the gifts for my kids and husband and sometimes even myself because my husband is clueless. But I always buy one family gift from Santa. This year I bought us a treadmill. My husband doesn't really need it as he has a membership to a gym and goes every day, but this may make it easier for him. I know it will make it easier for me. Instead of trying to find an hour to go out for a walk, I can jump on the treadmill for ten minutes at a time several times throughout the day. My 15yo daughter said she would also use it. Yes, she was there when I bought it. It was $800 off; I couldn't walk away!
I wouldn't buy a gift for the family that I didn't think I would like. I bought a stereo one year. I usually buy games though, a different family game every year... and I'm not talking video games. We have no such console in our house. And the movies I buy the kids are usually movies I want to see as well.
Two years ago I bought a pair of pants and a sweater and put the bag in my husband's cupboard. I told him there was a gift in there for me from him. LOL! I won't do that again but I have made it quite clear that I want the robe I saw the other day at the store. The girls were with me and will make sure he gets it for me. He better get there soon as they were on sale and they may go quickly.
