I was watching the movie Hairspray a few hours ago on HBO. It still makes me laugh! The actors' performances are so great.
I am amazed that John Travolta dressed up as the mom, which made it so much more fun to watch. :)
For those who haven't watched it, watch it! For those who've watched it already, what do you think? :)

The movies turned out to be pretty cute, I likes the characters, songs, and story line. BUT!! I have to admit the original Hairspray movie is a lot better, I think they over acted a little bit in this new one. I guess it is a matter of opinion and in my opinion it was good but the original was better. It was interesting to see John Travolta as a woman though I must say...lol.

I haven't watched the original version, so I have nowhere to compare it too.
Who were the cast of the original? I hope I can watch it soon... :D

Rikki Lake, Sonny Bono, Jerry Stiller, just to name a few... it came out in 1988...

I saw that movie awhile ago. And I think john travolta is very desperate to take that part lol. Even though hes the reason why I wanted to see the movie in the first place I just think hes a desperate man and would take any role even if its a women lol.
