I want to know what he thinks of me

I met a guy since end of September at a party. After a short chat, he asked me to go and have a drink with him but I said no because I was with my boyfriend. Then about 4-5 weeks ago I met the same guy at a folk dance where my friends invited me to join them. I didn't recognise him at first but he came over and asked me to dance with him and then I remembered who he was. Then we talked for a bit and some weeks later, I asked him out for coffee at a students' café. He came and we had nice chats with my friends. Then I asked him last Sunday to join me for baseball and he did. Then again on Thursday I invited him to my place where I was having a small party with friends. He came and during the evening he flirted quite often with me infront of my friends, he even once held my hand. He was the last to leave. But once my friends were gone, he suddenly became more quiet. I thought that maybe he had too much to drink so I offered that he can stay over on my couch. He smiled but said no that he should go home. Later that night I got an sms from him, telling me that he got home safe. Then we just kept in touch a bit on skype, I've invited him out for coffee again during the weekend but he declined saying that he has to study because he did nothing the day after my party. However, he also told me that he will be free again after today. I am now on a break with my boyfriend and want to get to know this guy on a normal circumstance. The guy knows that I have a boyfriend but doesn't know that I am now on a break with him. I want to get to know this guy better, but I don't know if he sees me as a friend or more???
