I am very keen on traveling but I there are so many places to go I don't tend to visit my favorite destinations more than once. I adore tropical islands and beaches most of all. I walk along the white sand beach looking at the palm trees and I swim in the aquamarine sea. I love to go snorkeling and see colorful coral and friendly fish of many different sizes. I adore going to places rich is culture and history. I have flown over the pyramids of Egypt and climbed Mayan ruins in Central America. I am so excited when I see wildlife and I went on the most fantastic safari in Kenya. I find it fascinating to explore cities that have attractive looking architecture. One of my hobbies is walking and New Zealand is a paradise for that that I so very much enjoyed visiting. Whilst my favorite place is a tropical island I have a young son that I feel more comfortable taking on city trips. We are off to Cape Town in January.

I have two favorite holiday destinations and both are close to home. I live in Southern California and when we're in the mood for snow, I like to go up to the mountains, generally to Big Bear. We usually rent a cabin for the entire week and friends and family come up as their work schedules permit. If we're not in the mood for snow, my favorite destination is Laguna Beach. We rent a beach house for a week. I love waking up early on Christmas morning and taking a run on the beach.
