do you need to taste and sample what you are cooking?

hi there. do you taste everything or can you cook with just a dash here and there? i amazed with people who are the latter. hehehe.. i guess i am the first one since i get very full by the time i finished cookin... meaning i put a dent on what i am preparing... oopss.. hehehee...

It depends on what I'm cooking whether or not I taste it as I'm cooking. If I'm make some that I don't have to follow a recipe then I do taste it. If I'm baking then I don't.

yah i always taste the food i am cooking so u will know what is the taste of the food ur going to serve..

hi,you are right.i am so full by the time i finish that i find it difficult to have more of dinner.thankfully,nobody has guessed yet.

It all depends on what I am making. Some things I just do a dash here and a dash there, but then there are other things that an exact amount of something is more important. I always taste it before I serve it to someone else.

I try to taste what I cook and share with others. I don't want awful-tasting food served. I am getting better at determining what I need to add to what I'm cooking. I don't get full by the time I am done cooking, though. Once I'm okay with the sample, I'm done "tasting".
