Do you miss your Dad

Hi all,
At the holiday season I really miss my Dad, he was a great guy with a huge heart. I know most everyone feels that way about their Dad, but mine he was truly special. He had a will to live that was really something, he cheated death several times in his life. I actually miss him every day but this time of year is really hard, it was his favorite holiday. How do you feel about your Dad, is he the most important person in your life. Do you make him proud?

My stepdad passed away December 23rd 2002 2 months after my daughter was born. i miss him terriably. christmas just not the same with out him around :(

I am really missing my dad now to. He was so comical at christmas time he left me in stitches. He left us in 2005 and it hasn't been the same without him. He was the most generous man in the world and always thought of others before himself. I am just like him. From remembering past events in our lives, to acting just like him, it is amazing. I to think of him and miss him everyday. I was daddys little girl so you must know how I feel. I wish I did make him proud, but I have had so much bad luck in my life I am afraid he is not proud. I am sure he loves me though.
