Hi I was wondering if you share your computer with other members of your family or maybe a roommate thankfully I dont have to share my computer with anyone besides I'm the only one other then my sister who knows how to use a computer, and she has her own computer and she lives on her own, so I dont have to worry about sharing my computer but sometimes my mom ask me to look up some information for her but other then that its all mine. how about you do you share your computer and how difficult is it to share it?

Since that is kind of my field of work i always buy the computers since i know what the best stuff is on it. But my wife always uses it as well so it's no big deal. We just set up different user accounts on the computer so she doesn't see my stuff and i don't see hers. Mostly because alot of my stuff is work related and i don't want her messing it up.

Yes, I share a computer with my fiance. It's not a problem for us because he works fuul-time so I use it when he is at work. I usually stay on it until he asks for it, which isn't very often. I do money making sites and he usually only checks his email.

There are four people living in my household and each one of us has our own laptop so I do not have to share mine. We do though let each other use the others laptop if one wants or needs to.

I never share my computer to others besides my family. My friends and my neighbors are forbidden using my computer.

My fiance and I do, indeed, share the computer. We're both gamers, and we're both internet addicts and message board frequenters. That's how we met. It was becoming increasingly difficult to share the computer, as we both wanted to use it for different reasons at the same time, and so we actually built a second "gaming" computer. We made sure it had more than the minimum requirements for Crysis, and plenty of memory and storage. Now, one of us can play new games on this computer while the other plays older games (Sim City 3000 at the moment) or surf the web on the other. It definitely helps keep the peace in our technological love nest.

Laptop - Laptops are so convenient.
I have a laptop that I share with my wife. She does like to shop online and check her email. My kids used to jump on from time to time just to surf around though we just purchased a couple of laptops for them so now they have their own and they is no more fighting for their turn on my computer. It works out great .

Hi There! Yes, we do share computers at home. We have 1 desktop PC and a laptop at home but we share them as always since we all use computers. All my cousins and siblings are in college and high school so they need to use computers for their projects or research. As for me, since I am working, I still use them but not as often as before, I use it when I chat with my man or if I need to do some updates from home for my work.

Hello. Yes I share my computer, I share my computer with my husband. My son has his own computer because I didn't want to take a chance and share mommy & daddy's computer with him because he probably would of deleted all of my photos by accident..LOL.. He has actually accidentally deleted a lot of short cuts on his desktop just by playing around and learning his computer ( he's 7)..Me and my husband do use different browsers. I use Firefox and he uses IE .We need a larger hard drive though because we collect and upload photos on our computer like crazy all the time.I do wish I still had my own laptop because I miss being able to lay in bed and watch t.v. while being online at the same time during the evening, it's a great way to relax. Sometimes I do find it hard to share because I don't like a bunch of games installed on my system because it slows down the computer and my husband is a gamer and he is always installing new games. He's more of a virtual junk collector then me also.

well in my case , we have a single computer at home which the whole family uses. i use it most of the time, but i do have to give it up when asked... that is a problem, while i game a lot and end up stopping he game at the end of a level without saving it. in such cases i feel that having a laptop for myself would be so good...

I let my son use my computer some, he's 6. He likes to play games on it & chat on yahoo some with his cousins. Other than that it's only me that uses mine. My son's father has his own computer because he works from home on his. I could see where it'd be hard to have/share a family computer because i spend a lot of time on mine. So having more than 1 person using 1 computer as much as i use mine would be hard. I also do a lot of work on mine too.

i am the main user of the computer but my wife would at times use the computer too for some chatting purposes with her friends. Most of the time, i am using it for gaming and online purposes. My wife have a laptop but she seldom used it and i dun like to use a laptop and prefer a desktop.

i am sharing my computer with my cousins. i don't use my computer every time, only on my vacant hours after school. so, everyone is free to use it in our house. and we pay our internet connection monthly so we better use it frequently. when i need to use the computer, they give way to me so it is so ok for me to share my computer.:D
