Do your dogs like to sit in the car?

Before I brought my dog back to my hometown, my friend has warned me some dogs don't like to sit in a car, some dogs even vomit.
Luckily, my dog likes sitting in the car and going travel very much. Every time, when we open the car door, she'll just jump into the car. When she's in the car, she's so excited to look at the cars around, look at the people outside. She just likes to go out, I suppose. When she was younger, sometimes my husband pressed the brake suddenly, she'd fall down from the backseat. But now, she has learned and she knows how to control and handle while she's in the car. How about your dogs? Do they like to sit in the car? Do they like to go traveling?

My dogs just love when they get to go out. They are so excited when they first get in the car and they can't stay still. After a while, they calm down and either lay down or watch the other cars go by. Neither has gotten car sick for quite some time.

You're so lucky that your dog likes to ride in the car with you! My dog doesn't do well during car rides. She gets car-sick! Eewwww! There's nothing like the smell of dog vomit to accompany you on a 20 minute ride to the vets for regular checkups and such! Ugh! I wish I knew of a way to help her past her anxiety or whatever it is she's going through during the ride.

I have a two year old german shepard mix and he loves to sit in the car. Actually he falls asleep everytime we take him somewhere. He loves going on long trips, driving on the highway. He doesn't really like to look out the windows and you can tell he gets really annoyed if you stop and go a lot because it makes it harder for him to go to sleep.
I also have another dog who doesn't really like to ride in the car, but she doesn't hate it. She is a black lab cockerspaniel mix and she is seventeen years old. When she was a puppy and we would go on long trips she would just curl up under one of the seats and go to sleep, but now when we drive she can never get comfortable or something because she doesn't stay asleep and she always get nervous. She also tries to climb in the front seat for some reason. That is really annoying and distracting while I am driving.
