Hi "kababayan" Ive heard that this week we will have a decrease in fare rates for only 50 cents is this true? I want to know if it is only 50 cents, would this be unfair for us commuters? there was a big decrease already in the oil prices but the drivers didn't even implemented the first decrease of 50 cents last month. I bet drivers will not implement this fare again.

this is always happen again and again, there is a decrease in oil prices but they will only less 50 cents in the fare, sometimes like private vehicle didn't do this if there is a roll back in fare, always the consumer will shoulder all increasing of things.

I do not know in your place but here in my place the first 50 cents decrease in jeepney fare is already being implemented and in effect. I think you should impose that on this jeepney drivers since it is just fair that they should decrease the price since Gasoline prices have significantly decrease their prices down. As for the next 50 cents decrease I think for as long as they follow the order of LTFRB then I guess everybody would follow and enjoy the decrease in fare prices. What I want to see is fare for taxi cabs should be lowered as well.

Early this year... when diesel was like between 35 - 37 php... the minimum fare was 7.50 for jeepneys... and it they will reduce the fare by .50 cents again... then that would mean a 1 peso fare rollback... which would bring it back to 7.50... so i thing that is just fare... but i do agree that some drivers have not yet implemented any of the rollback ordered by LTFRB... and the best we can do is report them...

Well, it's a little amount. I hope that the cut of is 1 peso. 50 cents is good but not enough. We are struggling in every commodities now I guess this is the time we can enjoy the Christmas with all of those commodities went down in price.
