If there was just one thing that I could get for Christmas it would be a new digital camera. I'm suddenly feeling this urge to partake in photography. Well its not a new urge and I've been interested in photography for awhile but I really feel like learning more about it now. A simple point and shoot digital camera might not be the best choice for someone who is interested in photography; a more advanced and technical camera might be better. However not only would that cost more money I'm sure but starting from the basics has never been a bad thing.

indeed a more advanced and technical camera is a bit expensive. but you'll never know, somebody might give you one this christmas! :)

A used Nikon DSLR camera. I'm thinking either a Nikon D70, Nikon D70s, Nikon D50 or Nikon D100. I'd like to have one to convert to infrared. I currently shoot with a Nikon D300 as my main camera. I also have a Nikon D70 that I use as a back up camera. I would convert that, but it has a lot of sentimental value to me. I just can't bring myself to open it up and mess with the insides!! So for Christmas I'd like a DSLR camera to use specifically for converting!

It's not obvious that you really are into photography :) DSLR camera is pretty expensive..but it's really good and worth the price!

Hi chaitra001! Same here...I have been using my motorola mobile for years now, I really need a new one as well.
