If there's one thing you want to tell your mom right now, what could it be?
My mom is a diabetic. I know she's kinda tired of hearing me say this " Mom..watch your diet please! Sugar..sugar..sugar! lol You can't blame me..i love her! :)

Well, my mother refused to speak to me when I got pregnant because I was not married, although I had been engaged for 3 years. I am married now and have a beautiful baby girl who just turned 8 months. I would tell my mother, if she were to listen, that she is a fool for missing out on her first grandchild's life and that she will regret it later.

Hi bellamommy. Thanks for the response and for sharing your thoughts. I do hope that everything with you and your mom will work out fine. She must have a hard time accepting that you got pregnant. She sure only wants the best for you. In God's time, everything will be okay. :)

hey I so agree with you. I mean my mom dwells so much with all the negative things, she always makes sure everyone is miserable like her and can't just be happy for people. Though she loves and takes care of her grandchildren, she makes us, her daughters, really miserable, pushing us further away from her. Sheesh! Sometimes ,I pity her coz she's getting old already and she'll just die miserable!

My mom and I haven't been on speaking terms for a year now. She's a very tough lady who think she is always right. The type who thinks no one is better than her. Her pride is very very high. She didn't talk to my sister for 8 years and with my dad for 5. Now she's not talking with my dad again. She took care of us when we were young but she also always throws that in our faces and makes it a big issues that WE have to work now to earn for the future of our kids. She thinks times before and times now are still the same and would not talk explanations. It is really frustrating. 
If I had one thing to tell her, it would be that I love her even if she's like that and I would tell her that I wish she would see past her attitude that we can have a good relationship as mother-daughter.

Hi Jammyt! Your mom is blessed. She has someone like you who loves her despite her flaws. She sure is not perfect, nobody is. She is probably just worried about the future of her grandchildren. She may not able to show how much she appreciated and loved you...but you know in your heart that she does. At least, you learned something from your relationship now. You will never commit the same mistake with your children.

This is what I want to tell to my mom. "Mom I know it's hard for you to do this but please ask Dad to work for the family. You've been working for almost 4 years now and he is doing nothing so please wake up! Anyway it's up to my mom, I'm not with them but I just love my brothers and I feel sorry for what's happening to their lives.
