Wat do u think?

What comes to mind for me is also frustration but for a different reason, see this is the problem with the world. We all talk about how we need to clean up this world but yet we arent willing to give up the modern equipment to help with it. See when groceries, gas, good's go up in price we still buy it because it is convient we gripe and complain but we cant live without. If we would live without these things and go back to the way our parents and grand parents lived then this world would be getting along alot better, we wouldnt be in the economic slum we are in. Well that is what has come to my mind, dont get me wrong I love getting on the internet, and watching the tv, cooking on a stove, and having electricity but I also know that if I had to I would and could give it up to make sure the future is brighter for my children. I promise Im not trying to be negative its just the first things that come to mind. Good Luck and God Bless

Hello, coolmailraj. I don't think that humans have become slaves of the modern equipments. We do not depend on the modern equipments to live. Of course, life is way more comfortable with them. But you will not die if you cannot connect yourself to the Internet. You will still be alive and breathing, won't you? In fact, the modern equipment are the real slaves. We control machinery and, at every day, we are building machines for different purposes. They are our slaves, while we only sit in a chair and order whatever we want. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Oh Yes I am shackled hand and foot to the washing machine, dryer, TV, computer and other assorted items. If I had to go back to hand washing, line drying, rug sweeping, I'd never have any time for mylot.

I believe we have become slaves to modern technologies. But, all of our modern gadgets are just so much fun! We went on a trip this weekend and we all seemed lost when the GPS didn't seem to work correctly. It was quite funny to see everybody fiddling around and worrying. We had a regular paper map, but that didn't seem to be good enough anymore! Life moves at a very pace and we do get frustrated when our technology doesn't keep up and when we can't keep up with our technology!

It is really very true. For example, Ours is a high rise society building. When earthquake shook the building, all the lifts were off for repair. People on the sixth and seventh floor groaned as they had to carry all bag and baggage via the stairs. So much have they become slaves to the modern amenities that they cannot ascend the stairs, cannot take a walk (depend on their cars to go to office), crib about everything in life.
