We love animal and we don't want to hurt them and we want to protect them from being abused. No doubt.
But, is it right that human play God, try to apply Animal Rights? It's kind of un-nature, what do you think?

Animals have feelings and the domestic animals give unconditional love. They deserve to be protected and taken care of. The thought of animal rights being is un-natural is very odd. It's like saying human rights is un-natural. I am a vegetarian and I do understand that there are people that eat meat. The quality of the meat is better if the animals are cared for better, than being caged or pened. As far as wild animals it's survival of the fittest. That is the law of natue. Sometimes that is crewl and hard to know about. When it comes to things that are un-naturan like areal shooting of wolves and other animals it's plain wrong. Clubbing of baby seals is crewel and shameful. I could go on but I think you get the idea.

I do believe in animal rights. Even God wants us to respect animals. The catholic church has a saint, St Francis who loved and respected animals. there is nothing wrong in respecting and protecting the animals.

I don't believe it is playing God. We have a responsobility to protect animals I believe. I mean we have rights. No one can abuse us, beat us, etc without paying the consequences. and the same should be for animals. They have feelings to and do not deserve to be treated badly.

well. i don't know whether i'm the right person to comment on this topic since i am an ardent fan of chicken. There are lot of campaigns going on to save Tigers and Pandas from being extinct but that doesn't mean we are protecting animal rights.
When i think more about it, even chicken have their own rights but we butcher them just the same for our own conveniences. I wonder whether we would file lawsuits to protect chicken from being fried if they were on the brink of extinction..

The God has given life to both man and animal. So, they have the equal right to live as we have. It is very unfortunate that man because of his greed kill animals and clean forests. This is the reason behind the some animal kingdom are extict and some are endangered of getting extinct. Animals also have same pain as men when someone is harming us. Animal Rights need to be protected from cruel men.
