If you're looking to get a purebred dog, you do NOT want a cheap one! Trust me! A cheap purebred dog is usually a result of backyard breeding. The breeder is usually not very knowledgeable, and the dogs are often inbred. Poorly bred dogs tend to have a lot of medical problems. When it comes to purebred dogs, you definitely get what you pay for!
If you don't want to spend that much money, you should definitely consider rescue. There are lots of bulldog rescues out there. To find available bulldogs in your area, just search Petfinder.com. The adoption fee for these dogs are usually between $200-$400 but that includes spay/neuter surgery, up to date on shots, deworming, flea and tick preventative, heartworm preventative, vet care, and often even microchipping. If you spend the same amount of money buying a puppy from a breeder all you get is the puppy. You then have to spend hundreds more dollars for everything I just mentioned. Plus, you're saving a life! Every year millions of dogs are killed because there just aren't enough homes for them.
Also, you should never ever ever buy a dog JUST because you like the way it looks. If you're considering a bulldog, you should do your research. Learn about the breed. Not every breed of dog is good for every person. So make sure the breed you're interested in is a good fit for your lifestyle!

oh i guess your a little late there pal...i knew a person who wanted to just give away his female bull dog pup as she wasnt able to adjust to the climate where he was staying...the only thing you would have to had to pay for is the shipping cost thats all and the pup would have been yours....but i guess he must have given it away by now....
