Christiano Ronaldo won the Golden Ball awarded to the European Footballer of the year on Tuesday, becoming the forth Manchester United player to take the honor..
Ronaldo had dominated the poll results with tallying 446 points and Lionel Messi was second with 281 points and Fernando Torres had 179...
do u think C.Ronaldo deserve the honor? why?

Of course C.Ronaldo should be awarded the hortation, the guy have done everything he can in the last season, consider the 42 goals and the two champion cup which he took for Manchester United whom we should award besides him. His speed, dribbling, break through and amazing deceptive movement are the nightmare for every fullback. Manchester United is the greatest club in the world and greatest team bring up greatest player, i hope C.Ronaldo can keep on going and win the FIFA world player of the year also.

Hi friend, i was the fan of Man.U since 1996, more than 10 years. I like Man.U because a film but i forgot the name, and Beckham was just a substitute in that period.

ronaldo won the award as he had scored those 42 goals for the season and manchester united did a double. i think he is not the right person to given the award. he still need to improve a lot. he keep thinking he is the best and if he think he is fouled he tend to act alot . he should act and play as he did when he had joined united. he seem to dive a lot now and tends to say that every tackle is a foul . he should be like rooney who keeps going even when he is fouled.
i think torres deserves the award the most. but still congrats ronaldo.

I believes he's the right man to win the award. Who can emulate the 42 goals performance from the right wing position? Eventhough some quarter said that Messi and Torres is even better by him, the award is judged on record. And with Manchester Utd won double last season, it's quite logic that their season's top scorer is deserved to win the award. Furthermore, if I'm not mistaken (correct me Kun if I'm wrong), the Ballon D'Or award is based on performance for club, either domestically and in Europe. No International performances be count on.

hi, corleone! i also believe that C.Ronaldo is deserved to win the award..but that doesn't mean he played better than Torres last season in my opinion..because there is only one winner...i checked the criterion for that award just now and make it sure that the award is based on the performance both in the club and in the national team...i think if Liverpool could win either the EPL or the Champions league last season, Torres would be the golden man...and another reason why Torres failed i think its because several player had given a perfect performance in the summer Euro Cup not only Torres though he is also very great...u know what i mean..and C.Ronaldo seems so outstanding in Man.U ...thats basically why he could beat Torres in the competition in my opionion...

YES! I love Christiano Ronaldo and he is so great at Manchester United. Even right after the World Cup when everyone in Englnad hated him and they booed him everytime he got the ball, he still played well and helped to win games. I think he is great and I love watching him play for Manchester United, but I have heard that he really wants to leave Manchester United and all of England and go to Spain somewhere. I hope he stays right where he is, but I doubt he will.
