Are you still actively looking for a job hop with the present depressive economy

Hi MyLottians, I am graduating very soon and looking for a better career. The market is plague with retrenchment,company downsize,no pay holidays,pay cuts etc. However, I am still optimistic in being competitive among other job seekers who have left their post for any reasons. I believe that in the present global economy, consolidation will be going on for a year or 2. As there are companies who are cutting back on expenses, there are companies that are taking the opportunity to expand. So if I look wisely for potential organizations, it should be an opportunity for me as well. I believe many other are also looking for a career move now, what is your opinion on the present job market? Are you concern about retrenchment and pay cuts? Please share your comments.
