Electricity Bills

Looking at my electricity bill, I am wondering why I pay so much for something I use for something so little. In my curiosity, I wonder how much your electric bill last month? What general area are you guys in? How would you rate your usage? Do you leave the lights on no matter what time of day it is, or do you go behind everyone and switch them off?

When we first moved in the apartment, we kind of hesitant to use the electricity that much because we do not want to pay big amount for that. But when we got our first bill we were surprise because it was only $35.00. We felt relieved. Now, we get our electricity bill monthly not more than $45.00. Which actually my husband and I leave our laptops on 24/7, we use heater every night and sometimes we leave our lights on.
