Cuil, launched by former Google employees on July 28th, 2008, is supposedly the search engine of the next generation. Various reports claim that Cuil has revolutionary indexing technology, and is able to index over 120 billion web pages -larger than any search engine. It also provided better user security. Almost overnight, the over-hyped Cuil was considered a serious threat to Google, the current most popular search engine.
Sounds too good to be true? It might be. Recently, criticism has come up that Cuil brings up irrelevant search results, has slow response time, and simply doesn't live up to its name.
Have you heard of Cuil? Have you used it? Do you use it regularly? What do you think, can it match Google?
In my opinion, Cuil isn't any bad, but I haven't noticed any significant advanages in it to switch to it as my main search engine. The idea still needs to get around in order for it to be considered a success. Cuil's future is hard to predict, but for now, I'll stick to Google. =P
What do you think?

I have never tried Cuil so I don't know anything about it. However, I'll definitely try it out now.
