Lovers in Paris - Pinoy Version

I am sure that you have seen the trailers and I am interested if you have changed your opinion of KC as Vivian. I am personally irritated at ABS for putting its time slot right after Santino. I have no plans of watching this remake. I am no fan of KC-Piolo team-up. No offense but that's just me. I'd rather watch Echo and Kristine, at least they have chemistry. I just wish that they would put it at a later time slot or before the late night news so I don't have to watch it and suffer. I guess that's just leaves me to switch the channel for 30 minutes waiting for the next show to come on.

Wow never heard about this. It's been 3 months (this post), yet, didn't hear any news about this on telly. Anyway... First off, what's up now with Filipino soap operas?? Don't they have anymore good thoughts about scripts and storylines to come up with? Even from the other big network have absorbed the other foreign shows, Marimar, Lalola, and what's next? I honestly think that 80s and early 90s movies and tv shows are way better than what we have today, to think of we have more chances of making shows and movies better by this age because of the new technology. Don't get me wrong by the way, I like Marimar (Pinoy version and much more with the original) however, we Filipinos seem not to have originality of making good shows nowadays. Well at least in my opinion. And what's this Lover's in Paris, Pinoy style, I don't know, I guess it'll be funny and all, however why don't our great Filipino minds make our own shows, instead of copying the originals and make it our style. This isn't some kind of reality show. I'm still enjoying the old school movies way better plot lines. Got no complaints though with the new actors and actresses so far. Well I'm glad I just don't have much time to see this shows. Lol

I found out that KC Concepcion is the chosen one who will portray as Kim Jung Eun (Vivian) in Lovers in Paris... Argh! I don't think she can portray that role, as comedian? LOL! I can't even imagine... Sorry I don't like KC..she can't even act and sing haha, in my own opinion. It would be better if Toni will portray as vivian. :D

I don't think KC can carry the role of Vivian. I had been a fan to Lovers in Paris and like Vivian so much, she was incredible both funny and witty, KC has an over acting talent and couldn't even deliver a simple emotion, she has still a long way to go with respect to acting, she must hone further her skill not just rely being a mega star daughter as her ticket to coveting important role. I agree with you that Toni Gonzaga is more appropriate to play the role of Vivian, she is funny, witty and "kikay"just like Vivian, she can give justice to the role. Hope ABS-CBN won't be stupid enough to cast KC as Vivian. Well, Piolo is an excellent choice for Carlo because he is serious in his acting. Karylle is perfect too to play Donna.

i like KC a little bit, yes, maybe because she is sharon's daughter (hehe!) and because she's wholesome :) but, i agree with you. she's not ready yet. she really needs a lot of improvement in her acting, especially if she's going to portray the role of vivian. i saw her debut movie with richard and, it was ok, but i don't know... i guess she needs more pointers from her mom so that she'll be able to connect more with the viewers.

Filipino showbiz were just copycats. They do nothing but copying telenovelas of other races. Can't they do original movies and shows rather than copying?

Hello totallyundecided! I agree with you. I don't think KC would fit the role as vivian. She's not even skinny. Vivian should be jolly and skinny and Toni is the one who would fit the role. How could abs - cbn never think about that? I love KC too and that I like her but honestly, she didn't fit the role.
