do you believe that work is worship

Work is worship is a known proverb. Well, work gets money and food for me and my family to live. Real worship to God is helping yourself, your family and not just doing just worship for hours and hours and nothing constructive. God helps those who help themselves.

I believe work is worship if we're doing it for God and not just for our boss. It is God who should we are pleasing to call it worship. In Ephesians it says that we should do our work as if working for the Lord and not for men.
In the Bible, there are many verses that pertains to work. Here are some:
In Exodus 20:9 God said, "Six days you shall labor and do all your work; and on the seventh day you shall rest." God wants His people to work.
It is God also who exemplified work as stated in Genesis 2:2 says - "By the seventh day God has finished the work he had been doing, so on the seventh day he rested from all his work."
Proverbs 14:23 says, "All hard work brings profit."
