So far as i know US had no other terror attack after the infamous 9/11 unlike another middle east countries or central Asia.
Is it because of the huge military expenditure or an alertness & unity among the citizens & the govt to avoid such dreaded attacks.
What is these policies that other countries can emulate & follow suit?

It's not that there weren't any attempts, it's just that Homeland Security was more vigilant and managed to thwart such attacks before they could follow through with them. Unfortunately, those things of course don't make the news other than maybe in raised terror alerts. Looks like the new president might face a new rush of terror attempts. Hopefully we'll never have to experience one again.

YES! India needs to learn how vigilant is the US Security and how motivated they are to protect their country and its citizens. If it calls for a lot of expenditure apart from dedication of the Security agencies, then we have to do some very good budgeting. Our great neighbor has made it mandatory for a peaceful country to spend so much on defense. Now there must be a clear budget for Internal Security too. This is in addition to Policing for the routine criminals. Perhaps this diversion of funds to useless expenditure to be forced on India is one of the important goals of terrorism.
The times of going to US for higher education are perhaps over. It is worth getting trained for Security fool-proofing. This to me looks like a Research topic. But if what it calls for is no corruption at all levels of polity and bureaucracy, then God alone can save the people of India, because that is a distant dream.
