I was just wondering while the saying goes that "Time is money" when it can't directly buy anything...What do you have to say or what do you think about this? Please share. Thank you

i think the expression "time is money" has more to do with people believing that your time can be spent making money ranther than standing around doing nothing (which ultimately will earn you nothing). so, even though you cannot buy anything with time, you can use your t ime to aquire money.

It basically means "If you are wasting my time, you are wasting my money" In other words, while my time is being wasted, I could be off making money. It's generally a business term but people just say it now when they are in a hurry or want to get back to what they were doing before they were interrupted.
