Thats it! I hate when they do that. Smallville is getting closer to Clark being a Superman. I feel bad about Cloe. I dont understand what is Lana is doing. I know she said, she is trying to protect Clark but why set up Oliver? who is she working with? Do you think Lex will be coming back this season? I know he is alive since the he is around in a Superman movie and series. I am looking forward everyweek for the smallville but last thursday was a disapointment. "NO SMALLVILLE!!!!" the I found out that the new episode will be aired on January 15, 2009... OMG!!! it's still 7 weeks... the worst part is, I can't do anything but wait huhuhuhu....

They do that every season... leave you hanging on with some sort of cliffhanger midway through, then come back in January to pick it back up. It is irritating, but not a whole lot we can do, LOL. Just watch the old episodes to pick up pieces of info you missed, and catch past seasons in syndication. By the way, they are getting ready to "reboot" the Superman storyline a la "Batman Begins", meaning in the world of Superman movies, none of the previous movies will have ever happened! Also, don't expect to see the Superman costume on Smallville. Info is, they do not have the rights to do that on this show, it will only be used in movies. Likewise, you won't see a Batman appearance on Smallville.
Hold on... you can make it until January. :)

I already watch the old episodes. I have a cd for seasons 1-6 but my brother asked me to leave it behind for him. A reboot???? hhhmm sounds interesting. thanks for the reply.. yes I can make it till Jan 15 hehehehe have a great day!!!

Ohhhhh, well, now you know the joy we get to experience with a LOT of series here in the US... I guess they figure they will not get as many viewers over the holidays.

I have to agree with you. It's frustrating when they pull that cliffhanger crap midseason. I am happy that they are starting to work with the Clark/Lois dynamic since we all know they wind up married anyway. It's also great that Chloe has found someone to love in Jimmy Olsen. But they could've gone without Doomsday being thrown in. Doomsday came into the picture long after Clark became Superman. Oh, well.....
As for Lex, he's just gotta come back at least for the final episode if for no other reason than to show what kind of megalomaniacal force he will be for Clark to deal with in the future. And Lana? I'll have to get back to you on that one.......
All in all, it's been a great show and I am glad to have been one of the many who came along for the wild ride.
