Is this a DREAM or GOD telling me something?

Has something in your life Happened that change your whole outlook? Like one of the things that happen to me ...years ago. I had been in the hospital a fews days. I returned home on a warm and sunny day in april and I took a nap ...which during I had a DREAM? That I was in this place the land was barron.. Just dirt and rocks big and little..there was little pits of fire all over like camp fires ...the trees where like after the branches are trimed no leaves...I was on my hands and knees in the hospital gown with my hand down I was hot also. when i lifted my head there was this...man? In a long black robe standing in front of me ..no face (black circle) no hands at the end of the sleeves but was holding on to a stick thing just standing there...I remember put my head back down and praying to god that I didn't want to die, I didn't want to go to hell that please please I started begging I don't want to die then I opened my eyes and that was it. Before you make you decide (1) I had not been to church since 6th grade at this time I was 21 (2) I have been told that was the grim reaper DEATH Person? I did not know of him before that (3) I did not watch any tv or talk of anything like this that would make me dream this. SO DREAM OR SOMETHING ELSE?
