Selling items for extra christmas money

this year, i sold some stuff that i had around the house on ebay over the summer and made a bit of extra cash. i used that money to buy some other stuff on ebay which i used for christmas. i also used my mylot money for that too. we have garage sales in the summer, but we use that money for family fun outtings over the summer.

Oh yes I do....but over here in Asia I think more so for our Chinese New year which is in January. Used to give christmas presents a few years ago but have stopped. But this year will be giving a few friends presents only.

I have not sold anything online. It is great if you can make some money selling online. What kind of items are you planning to seel for Christmas? Best of luck if you are tying to sell!

no never. actually selling old items is not very popular here. we just sell scarps to some scrapman.

We do a couple of rummage sales throughout the year for the purpose of coming up with extra money. This is the money we spend on trips or other things we could not do on our budget. We often buy items at resale shops, rummage sales and whatever to fix up and resell. Works for us.

I don't sell on ebay ro craigs list but do sell things for Christmas. I actually do craft sales....also in the past have gotten orders for cookies and bars etc....so I do end up making a little extra for the holidays.

Yes I am thinking of putting a few things up on Ebay, as things are getting a little tough, I went off Ebay for awhile as I wasn't selling all that much so I thought I would have another go so I will put a few things up tonight I think....

I sure do! This year though, we decided to have a group garage sale in order to move the stuff faster and cut back on ebay fees and shipping charges. We've had 2 and plan to have 1 more before Christmas. We've been able to make enough to get the kids their presents, so we are happy we've been able to do so. Good luck on your sales!
