I'm Late Today!!

my life is horrible!

Hello result7, I know this discussion is a month old but still, I want to share my view. When I just started working (of course it was not my dream job) I will purpose come late if I know I can't make it. Lets say the office starts at 9am, and I woke up late that morning... I won't rush trying to reach office on time but I slowly get dressed up and go to office. I will just say sorry but I won' t tell the reason unless being asked. Sometime I would tell the truth but if I know the truth will cost me my job, I will create something reasonable for my boss not to scold me!

As much as I can, I try to be on time. If however, I do become late, I would tell the truth. As cliche as it may sound, the TRUTH will set you FREE. If you tell a lie, you would always be worried of the "what if". What if your boss find out or What if you lie really becomes a reality. So better stick with the truth.

i always tell the truth because i am always afraid that if i lie he might find out about it sooner or later so better tell the truth than lie.

Just tell the truth. It is always better just incase you might get caught out. If you are never late he will understand. Good luck and set your alarm tomorrow.
