Whom will you choose? the one you love or the one who loves you?

Both situations would be difficult and they would both lead to a lot of unhappiness I think. I have been in both types of relationships and I would say that the situation where you love him but is he doesn't love you caused me the most unhappiness. I got very hurt because I was desperately trying to MAKE him love me, and that is not possible. You can't force love. The other type of relationship was also difficult, but in a differrent way. Just like you can't make a person love you, if he doesn't have that kind of feelings for you, you can't force yourself to love someone, if the feelings aren't there, and the realtionship will suffer. Still if I had to choose between the two, I would pick the kind of relationship where he loves you and you don't love him. It is not the ideel relationship but I still think it is easier to change yourself than changing the other person. Forcing myself to love him is not possible, but if I were in that situation I would try to make the best of it. I might not be able get really happy, but I might be able to get relatively happy. In the situation where I loved him and he didn't love me, I don't think that I could get relatively happy, as there would be no happiness whatsoever.

Hello, sharonperez! If I had to choose, I would choose the one I love. Yes, I would choose to be with the person I love. I wouldn't be able to make the person that loves me live an illusion. And I would never be happy, knowing that I am with somebody that doesn't love me. It would be two broken hearts. And I would feel really bad for what I would be doing. Now, by choosing the person I love, at least I will be happy. Even if the person doesn't love me back, I would be glad to have gotten as far as making her become my lifetime partner. i would not go either of the two..it has to be both of us loving each other or else it would not work..no relationship would work if only one is loving...

nt both of them...love shud b from both side for success of relationship.
