first of all, I'm a guy and I love both vampire and werewolf. I just think that maybe the movie should have more action in it. I mean, yeah there should be a lot of kissing and lovey-dovey in it as it is a love story but I really think that some action in it will definitely make the story better. Look at Edward when he fought with the Volturi, he's like so weak and doesn't stand out to be a hero. My girl is a big fan for this Twilight Saga, so I'm begging the director... Please add some action for the next movie...

I've read the books, and I watched the movie. I thought it was a fun movie to watch. I mean, its not going to get any awards for acting or whatever, but it was entertaining enough that I enjoyed my two hours inside the movie theater. I have to admit I did go in with low expectations, considering that movies based on books, don't usually turn out the way I want. Still, I feel the movie try to stick with the book plot, but made changes that is necessary for a film format. It's actually funny how some poignant scenes in the book came out slightly humorous on the film, but I'm fine with that. I dragged a friend who has not read the books, and when the movie was over she love the film, and I have to accompany her to the bookstore to grab the book. So, I guess..the movie has its own charm. Oh..and I went to watch it again with another group of friends...and one of them who hasn't read the book..decided she wants to read it too...LOL.. I do prefer the book over the movie though.

Great disappointment.. I understand that you have to limit the time you have the movie and that you have to cut things but they changed practically the whole book. 90% of the movie was not how things happened in the book at all. I wanted to throttle something really hard. I would have never read the book if I saw the movie first. If you want to know what I mean by 90% of the book you can read my discussion I'll put a link in here and the response by the first person who answered it. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1820352.aspx They just made too many changes and I don't think it was true to the book in any shape form or fashion.

It was great man, you'll really feel your blood rushing through your veins, although it was less detailed than in the books, I think the acting also was very well portrayed, and the vampire Edward's pick up lines and delivery are excellent.

I love the book, but I agree the movie was pretty good. I wish they would have set it up a little differently but it was great anyways

I love the twilight series...my only issue is I don't know if I am Team Edward of Team Jacob...after seeing the New Moon yesterday, I'm leaning towards Jacob.... Check out this article on how to choose between Edward and Jacob, let me know what you decide! http://digg.com/d31Asae Mel

Very wonderful. I watched Twilight with my friends and we watched it twice, which is so unusual because we don't normally seat in theaters for 5 hours just to watch the film twice, but we couldn't help but watch it again, including other moviegoers. The story is so simple but you can feel its sweetness and freshness that you can help but gasp with excitement, it seems that you are young again and set to meet your Prince Charming in the prom. I mean the story is perfectly done and very very sweet. The episodes where Edward and Bella exchanged tender love dialogues for about 5 to 6 minutes make your heart leap and jump that the moviegoers can't help but giggle. It was very inspiring, the extraordinary romance between a human and a vampire (a non-threatening vampire)pump sensation and emotion, never mind if the global audience find it unproductive which did not follow the books. Of course film adaptation is always different from the book itself, this is the common trend in the world movie industry. So Twilight is no strange to this trend. But the amazing story of Edward and Bella that crosses lines between two unlikely worlds is enough to fuel one's fantasy of a wonderful movie experience. A gorgeous, mysterious hunk who is actually a 108-year-old vampire and appeared to be just 17 years old physically is smitten with a very sweet and shy girl, together, they conquer odds with their extraordinary circumstances and formed a wonderful bond of eternal love build in trust and affection. So how can you not fall in love with that?
