Well, I take a shower at least once every two days. I wash my face every day. I wash it with one of those soaps for your face. I get one that applies for my needs, but it will be different for everyone. And I make sure that I wash my hands after I go to the bathroom, after I do some cleaning, etc.

good! but i think you forgot to answer my question if your place is too cold. well if does not mean that one is not taking bath everyday means that he is not clean. for as long as he is cleaning his self then its ok. me i envy those who can took bath two times a day i wish i can do that without worrying that i will be sick.
thank you for posting and be blessed!

I have to take a shower before going to bed at night. If I wait till in the morning than I have to get up two hours early just so I can get my hair dried and ready for work. I try and take my shower and blow dry my hair so in the morning I just have to run my flat iron through it. I have never gotten sick from doing this but I dry my hair before going to bed so that may be why.

you are lucky that you never got sick when taking an evening shower. drying your hair is a tedious job and it really requires time.
by the way from where are you from i added you as friend. since your getting a bath in the evening before going to bed do you have sound sleep after? it that true?
thank you for posting and be blessed!

I am from Arkansas so it is very cold right now.:( I sleep a lot better if I shower before I go to bed. If I don't I always seem to have trouble sleeping. I guess I have to feel clean before I can fall asleep. If I do take a shower in the morning before I leave for work I never seem to warm up so I spend the day feeling cold.

It depends. On a typical day I just take one shower, usually before bed. The warmth of a hot shower helps me fall asleep. If I work during the day, then I will generally take a shower right after work, especially if I am going to go anywhere, even if it is just up to my mom's house.
I could not imagine taking 3 baths or showers a day. . . to me that seems like a waste of water.

Hi! Your right 3 times a day bath is really a waste of water! But i guess it will depend on the situation like if accidentally you fell off the grass or mud one should take a bath immediately.

It is a MUST for me to take a bath in the morning before I leave the house and in the evening before I got to bed. If it is really hot, like in the summer, I take a shower in between if I am home. If it's too cold and I didn't do anything to make me sweat nor go anywhere else except the comfort of my bed, I stick to one bath.
You see, when I don't take a bath, I feel dirty and sticky, as if something is not right.

hi that is right. when you failed to take a bath in a day it feels that your too dirty and annoying! it also feels too hot. i dont know how to explain the feeling unless your living in a too cold place that you cant barely notice that it is hot. regardless i think it is still proper to take a bath everyday!

Like most people, I take a bath regularly or daily as long as I don't feel feverish. But on certain special occasions, I would take a bath twice in a day. And when the weather is ultimately or extremely hot, I would go to a maximum of three showers.
Well during weekdays, I usually take less number of minutes, about 20 minutes to half an hour, in taking a shower because I still have to do some preparations like combing my hair, brushing my teeth, and changing to office uniform for a particular day. Aside from this, I also have to allot about 30 to 45 minutes travel time from our rented house to our workplace.
But during weekends when I don't have to hurry in the bathroom, I consume more than 30 minutes for this activity. I must admit that I get to enjoy my shower this way, rather than taking a bath just for the sake of washing the body and feeling refreshed.
Ever since I got married, I had my hair cut short or up to shoulder level so as to minimize my shampoo time in the shower and combing it afterwards; as well as cutting costs on shampoo and conditioner which I use about 3 to 4 times weekly.

I'm used to taking a shower in the morning everyday and specially if i'm going out i do it before leaving. That is my normal routine and if there are times that i feel so sticky from sweat i shower again but it seldom happens. I get colds when i don't shower at all. I guess if your are used to taking a shower before bedtime will not make you sick.

I mostly take baths and sometimes showers once a day. I switch it up though sometimes I take one in the morning before school so I can feel fresh and at night so I can fall asleep better. But I never take a bath right before I go to sleep and then take another one in the morning. Its a waste time/water.

hellow!
you are indeed right. but the wasted water cannot be reciprocated to the freshness feeling that one has when he took bath at night. but anyway those are still be treated with respect. all people are entitled to their opinion.
thank for posting. hope you are enjoying your stay at my lot.

Why not try a hot bath instead. Your location really affects you body temperature. That's why whenever you take a bath at night you often got cold.
As I am, I do take a bath 2 times a day but I often took a shower instead and just wipe my hair with a wet towel to removed some dust and dirt might stick to my hair when I'm out in the field the whole day. Or when I came to a field which is dusty area. My job is just at the office but sometimes I joined them out to the field for an out door work. So I really need to take a bath before bed time. It feels so good and refreshing, I always had a nice and sound sleep.
Or maybe you have a weak immune.

my evening bath is a warm bath. i tried it for 3 consecutive days on the fourth day i got colds. instead of taking a bath what i do is to freshen up by washing my face, brushing my teeth and changing my clothes and so some little wash over my body like feet, hands, neck and arms. i am also thinking of my immune system i am trying to strengthen it by taking a lot of vitamin rich foods like vegetables and fruits. now i still have cough and colds it is on its 2nd week already but today is even better as compared last week.
thanks for the post and be blessed

I take a shower twice a day in summer , one in the morning ,the other in the evening. In winter, I take a shower every three days. Because I feel cold to take shower very often and very easy to get a cold.

hi meirong,
yes during summer its really hot here in the Philippines usually ranges from 40 to 45 degree Celcious but now its a bit cold. I think it became a habit of taking a bath before going to bed thats why many are taking a bath 2 times a day. to those who have been taking a bath 3 times a day maybe their work really requires them to do such thats why!
happy posting and be blessed

I take a bath only during mornings. My mom told me that it is not good for the body to take baths at nights especially when you came from work and you're very tired. My mom would say it is better to go to bed dirty than to be clean and get sick. Though there are some people who claims that its ok as long as you use warm water. I don't have to take baths at night anyway since I only stay in the office the whole day and my travel time from our office to my house is only around 10mins. I don't I even sweat at all since I stay in an airconditioned room from morning till night.

Well most of the time I take a bath or shower everyday, but sometimes if I'm not real busy and I'm just hanging out at home I might skip a day and take one the next day, but like I said if I'm busy and physically active or going to the jim or something then I have to take a shower everyday.

I take a shower every other night and a bath on the nights I don't shower. I prefer to take baths because they are more relaxing

haha. This is quite an interesting topic. I usually take one shower a day, taking more than that seems like such a waste of water.
I never get sick after taking a shower. Actually its just the opposite. I feel so much better after taking a shower, especially if I am sick, Taking a shower makes me feel better!
I barely have time for baths anymore, I just take showers because I am always in such a rush!
I think you should dry your hair before going to bed and close your windows or turn off your Air conditioner or fan so that you dont have cold air blowing on your wet hair.
Hope our answers helped you :D

I bath once a day, and if I come home from work really dirty, then I bath twice a day. I heard that showering makes people tired, but for me, it wakes me up so showering in the evening isn't something I do often.
