I have noticed that many members here do not rate the responses that they get on their discussions or on their own responses, which according to my thinking is not nice. I have rated every single discussion I have ever been in and am proud to say this because I feel a responsibility to rate whether a person's answer helped me or not then I rate with respect to that.
If you don't rate someone then please say why not?
If you do rate then please give me the reason, why you think others should also start doing this?

I do rate every discussion I respond to. and every response I read, and every response I get from my discussion. One way or another its helping the other member, especially if they are aiming for the blue star.

well actually i don't really care about stars :p
I just wish people would give an honest rate when I or someone else responses to their discussion. ^_^

I've heard that rating every single post is against MyLot's TOS. Apparently they actually do not want you to rate every discussion! You are only supposed to rate discussions you find exceptionally positive or exceptionally negative. I don't know if this is true or not. It's just what other more experienced MyLot users have explained to me.

I don't mean you to rate all the responses, LoOl. I mean you to rate the one's that you think deserve it.

Is it really necessary to rate them? Is it really required to rate those response? I am not trying to do something here but was just merely asking. You just can't tell someone or anyone to rate them or not even how good it is or exceptional it may be but a lot of members are here for the money and they want to make as many posts as they want and rating discussions or response is less priority. And that doesn't mean those members are not acting nice already if they're not rating other member's discussions or response.

Whoa, no need to be angry. I don't think anyone maliciously decides not to rate, they probably forget. I don't rate all of mine, I do try to remember.

It doesn't only have to be your discussion in order for you to give a rating. There are times that when I found something interesting and that I would say helped me in some way, I don't hesitate to stop by and give it a positive rating. I still have to rate someone with a negative and I am not thinking of doing one in the near future.
