Well I dont have any children myself..but I use to work at a daycare and we use to start trying to potty train our kids at 2 years old. They had to be potty trained by the time they were 3 years old so they could go to the 3y/o room. Most of them made it. :o)

With my son I started at around 2 1/2, he wasnt full trained until he was 3. With my daughter I started right after she was 2 and she had it down within 2 weeks. Girls are easier to potty train than boys most of the time.

I started letting daughter sit on and play with a toddler potty at 2 years old. She was trained by 3.

My child was potty trained by the time he was 2 1/2. It took about a month to do. I had tried when he was 15months, but it just didnt work. So, we waited a little while, for him to have a full understanding of the process.

I started training my youngest a little after the age of 2. I started my oldest at the same time but then had to stop. He just wasn't ready. I then started back with him when he was almost 3 and he picked it up real quick.

We got the potty chair at 2 and let them sit on it and kind of play with it. That way they were not scared of it. My oldest was traind by two and a half my middle one by 3. My youngest we are still working with him but he is a special case.
