what is the most heartbreaking thing that has happened to you?

in the past month i have been hurt in to many ways to count just wondering if anyone else felt the pain

The loss of a 13 year old family dog was by far the most heartbreaking thing I have lived through. Then watching our remaining dog grieve her loss was totally heart wrenching. This is all very recent and I am still living through the heartache just a bit. Everyday gets a little easier.
I also have a 4 year old son who occassionally still gets confused about the loss and they is why it is still lingering and harder to get over.

From the day my husband disappeared to return to his life of addiction (ironically on September 11th) things have gone downhill for me. And hurt? Yes I experience it every day as see just where people are who I thought cared so much for me and my daughter. There is so much I could say here but let it suffice to say I can feel your pain very much and hope that whatever is going on with you will get better soon.
