what was the common course in college that you think parents force their child?

Well, here in the Philippines, Nursing is the very famous coures here. That parents always wants this coures to be taken by their child. Though sometimes, whether the child likes to take it or not, they were forced to take because parents wants that coures for them. But personally I suggest that they should not force their child to take the coures which they don't want to because at the end, they will not finished it if you'' just force them to what they don't like.:-)

Yes I do agree that in our country most of our parents force their children to take nursing because it is in demand abroad. I have so many cousins who took nursing and told me that they don't like it if only they are the one to choose their course it should have been computer science or something to do with computer, one of my cousin also was being forced by her mother to take nursing even if we know she is not that studious or intelligent enough for the course then after taking the course the result is she have so many failing grades.

In Indai it is Engineering, Medicine, Law and MBA. I think it is same around the world. But all of us know about the current recession because we are following a wrong pattern. It's time to change thinking and began to be financially free. Read the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" to know more about it.

I would have to agree that it is probably medicine. I know a lot of my friends' parents want them to be doctors. I have friends that parents wish they would go to school to be doctors, but are willing to let their children do whatever they want. And I also have friends with parents who won't pay for any education unless it is medical school.

Yes, most parents force their children to attend medical school. But, my parents don't like that. My brother and I can continue our studies in any fields. For example, I choose to study chemistry while my brother choose to study animation.

ya thats right but some of them needs to do computer because now a days it's fully passion and valuable one.
