For those of you who have read the book already know that Harry Potter ended up with Ginny in the last book while Hermione and Ron had finally fulfilled the budding love that they have long kept. But I'm pretty sure that most of you want Harry and Hermione to end up with each other.
I myself is a fanatic of Harry and Hermione...I just like the tandem and I find them so matched up with each other. They look good together. When I was reading the book I also suspected that Harry and Hermione has feelings for each other because they are so sweet and caring to each other. I was a bit frustrated though that it did not end up that way but I have nothing against Ginny too.
Now, the question is, who do you think should best end up with whom? Should it be Harry and Hermione? Or should it be Harry and Ginny? and why? Let me hear your view and opinions about this...

Hi June
I have always apprehended that Happy would end up with Hermione. They have had an amazing chemistry till the last book! With the introduction of Ginny, the whole thing changed. But I did hope that Harry and Hermione are perfect together.
Harry and Hermione gets my vote.

Hi Preethabb! Yeah, I liked how J.K. Rowling has given importance to the frienship but I always had that feeling that whatever is between Harry and Hermione before it's more than a platonic relationship. I'm sure Harry is special to Hermione and the same goes for Harry. Everyone seems to see them as a romantic couple especially in book four when Rita Skeeter made a write-up about the blossoming relationship of Harry and Hermione. I thought that would lead to something more than their platonic relationship. Anyway, i'm still glad Harry ended up with Ginny. I can't imagine him with Cho...(just my opinion)... :D

Screw Ron. I believe Hermione and Harry look better together. Well, in the movie, anyways.
Please let me say this. Cho Chang (in the movie) disappoints me a lot that she has to be Harry´s first love interest; that he went nuts for her; and that she became Harry´s girl. Screw that.

Hi there! I understand your point about Cho though I was only frustrated in the movie...not in the book. I was imagining a different face from that in the movie. It was a bit disappointing but may be they know better on how to make the movie a success...(i have nothing against the artist as well).
At least, there no much exposure on her side since most of her appearnaces are only in the fifth movie (OOTP) though she's some part on the sixth movie (HBP) but not as much coz I don't really like her character that much...
happy mylotting! :)

it's harry and ginny for me. it's very obvious since book 1 that hermione is for ron and there's really nothing wrong with it, ron and hermione look so cute together and ginny has a crush for harry to start with so i think it's all been worth it at the end of the book and no matter who's gonna end up with who, bottom line is they're all HP characters we all love to read and watch

It's pretty been obvious in the first two parts of the book that Ginny has a crush on Harry and Ron started to like Hermione on the second book. I just fooled myself that feelings and people change as time goes. With what Harry and Hermione have been to, I was thinking they'd end up together. But other than that, I'm perfectly happy with how the book ended... :D I envy Rowling for being able to write that kind of story. She definitely knows who to keep her readers.

Yes, I thought Ron and Hermione were meant for each other. I wasn't to sure about Harry though - he seemed more infatuated with, at least in the last chapters, with Cho, I think her name was, the oriental girl at Hogwarts, during their school times.
though at times it was awkward, heaven knows that describe me during those years.

I think it started on book 2 where Rowling introduced Ron's fondness towrds Hermione but in a subtle way. I just tried to reason with myself that maybe it's gonna change in the coming books but I guess I was wrong. No, I'm really wrong...hahahaha! Ron and Hermione still ended up together. I have no issues with Ginny ending up with Harry though. At least, one of Harry's kids can still end up with Hermione's child. Hahaha! :D

Yeah, too bad it didn't happen but I still want to think that Harry and Hermione make a great couple. Both strong-willed, brave and smart. :D They always have a connection that Ron sometimes is not able to intrude.

That's what I thought the first time i saw the movie, The Philosopher's Stone. I bet everyone thought it'd be Harry and Hermione who'll end up as the loveteam. I think JK Rowling knew its too predictable if she let it that way. So adding Ginny on the picture will keep her readers stuck on their seats to find out who ends up with who. It is okay if Harry ended up with Ginny. Though Hernione blends well with Harry, Rowling perhaps has her own reasons why she let it happen. Remember everything in the story relates to Rowling's real-life story.

I agree with you! Everything in the story is related to Rowling's real-life story. But yeah, I always thought that Hermione had a crush on Harry the very first time they met. I love their first encounter on the Hogwarts train. Ahhhh, this makes me wanna read the entire series again! hahaha

It was obvious that Ron was smitten with Hermione by the 4th book. I think Harry realized that while he cared for Hermione, he didn't love her like Ron did. I did find Hermione going for Ron a bit odd, since he was such a goof off, all-be-it with a heart of gold.
Ginny had always had the hots for Harry, but I think Harry didn't know how he felt about the "kid sister" until she went to the Christmas dance with someone else. I did feel by the 5th book Harry and Ginny were going to be together. I'm still surprised by "R" & "H".

As far as the movie team goes, I would like Daniel and Emma together because they look an awesome couple and they do seem to have a good chemistry together too but we can't force them to get together . But, if I go by the book, you can see that Ginny was attracted to Harry right from the beginning.. he was her puppy love. So, I sort of expected that to happen. Hermione on the other hand is always a friend to Harry and there is nothing in the script that shows more than brotherly or friendly love towards Harry from her. So, I am in fact happy that Harry has found a soulmate in Ginny.

I would have to say Harry and Cho, Ron and Lavender, Me and Hermione, and Me and Ginny. Yeah, that looks about right to me. I hope this helps.

Hi June,
Harry and Hermione love eachother deeply. I think they might be a fragment of the same soul. But they are too close and the same for being attracted to eachother.
Ginny, however, completes Harry, as Ron completes Hermione.
It's not for nothing that the biggest one-liner from the movie Jerry Maguire is: "You complete me!"

Well, myself, I think that Harry and Ginny are a better pair. To me Harry and Hermione have a brother sister relationship. Not a love one. Plus Ron and Hermione have had a conection for a long time. Plus how Harry cares enough about Ginny to leave her so she doesn't get hurt is very sweet. So Harry and Ginny all the way!

I accept the fact that Harry and Ginny ended up together, but there's also a part of me that keeps wishing that Harry and Hermione ended up together instead. They would have been a really great couple. :D

I personally don't hve a problem with Harry and Ginny, although I did think it was rather random, I mean he doesn't even know he likes her until he sees her making out with some other kid. And true, Harry and Hermione are amazingly good friends, but I think that's all they should ever be. In some ways I think Harry and Hermione are better friends because they're not romantically involved.

Harry and Hemione make great friends. Harry can always rely upon her as she is highly intellectual when compared either to Ron or Harry. Their names might be similar but still, just because of that they cant make a better pair.
Harry was never attracted to Hermoine. Right from the beginning they both were good friends.
If you take Harry and Ginny, Ron and Hermoine - Ron is not fast witted where as Hermoine is; Ginny is action oriented where as Harry though action oriented analyses things.
Both Harry and Hermoine are people who analyses things well. You need to have two different types of people to make a better pair. Thats why Ron and Hermoine; Harry and Ginny make a better pair.
Right through the 6th and 7th book, Rowling have made it clear that it is Ron and Hermoine who are going to end up as a pair.

Well its obvious to think that harry n hermione wud've made a gr8 couple....but they r both kind of same n they never fight with each other....but we see tht there r lot of instances where ron n hermione fights n argues n u fight with ppl u love the most right :).....N everheard of the term "opposites attract"? :D...so i guess ron n hermione wud make a better couple than harry n hermione as they wud turn out to be boring n predictable eventually.....as for harry n ginny, well ginny seems to be a stubborn n determined person....so they make a pretty decent couple as well
