Where Is The Most Unusual Place, Your Pet Has Ever Vomited?

My kitty Anna Belle, pictured in avatar, loves to sleep under the Christmas tree. She looks forward to this each year. The other night, I was sitting here at the computer, and she was asleep under the tree. I suddenly heard her making those 'telltale sounds,' and I knew she was going to throw up. I managed to coax her out from under the tree, and she was sick on the kitchen floor. This is definitely an easier spot to reach, for cleaning purposes. If and when your pet vomits, does there seem to be 'one place' where this regularly occurs? What is the strangest place your pet has ever vomited? How hard was it for you to clean this up, due to the location?

My pests, I mean pets, have done it on top of TALL book cases, so that I had to stand on stepstools to clean them up! I suspect that they have done it down the back of some bookcases, but I haven't pulled them out to check - cleaning isn't my strong suite.

Hi ElicBxn, That would be a really hard place to get to. Bookcases can be heavy, so it's no wonder you're not able to pull them out often. Anna Belle throws up down the front of my comforter at times, and it's blocked by a chest at the foot of the bed. It's gone unnoticed once in awhile, so I now check this area thoroughly. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

Last night Nef came into the bathroom and started heaving right in front of me. I chased her butt outta the bathroom into the hall (we have no carpet so that's no issue) I just didn't want her barfing on my shoes!

My cat loves to do this in my bed or wherever i am it seems he likes to have company while he vomits. Its really gross when you are trying to sleep and you hear that lovely gagging sound.

Hi minnie, It's good to see you here, as always. I know what you mean. It is really unsettling to be awakened in the middle of the night, to that horrible sound. Sometimes it's hard for me to even find the site, that the vomit is located in. Once in awhile, 'I think' I dream that I hear her throwing up. When I awaken, I can't be sure if it's real. Thanks for stopping by. Take care.

I am not sure where the weirdest place our cat has vomited. The other night our cat vomited at the foot of where I sleep, and then at the pillow of where my fiance sleeps. That's probably the strangest I've seen, and any other cats I've had, I can't remember where they vomited. The cat's been in my fiance's family for a long time. I can't really say whether or not our cat vomits in the same place or not, she does like to stay in the same places throughout the house, but even so those places are few. We also have two chihuahua's, so I think we clean up more poo then vomit.

Wow. I hate it when they throw up on bedding. Our kitty does this too, at times. She has her favourite spots to sleep, so we do get some consistency regarding location. It can be difficult to clean up, depending on where it is. Cleaning up poo isn't pleasant either, and I do my fair share of that too. We love our pets, but it would be nice if they'd use the bathroom facilities for these things. Thanks for your response.
