another game in the famous series has arrived. It is good, but don't you guys think the world war 2 theme is getting a bit repetitive ??

well now they are making games on different aspects of world war. previously they focused on war against the nazis and now they made one against the japanese. it might be a good looking game with a great storyline but you are right; it is getting repetitive, but who cares. it isn't really about the timeline and event of the game, it is more about coming up with improved gameplay and multiplayer, which they have.
i still haven't played call of duty world at war yet, and maybe i won't at all. cause the people at COD4 server on which i play say they prefer playing COD4 multiplayer. so the population playing COD5 on local server is extremely low so there is no point getting that game for the multiplayer.
i guess, just for a change, the developers of the COD series may try working on a sci-fi theme, or maybe a world war one theme (i haven't come across a single WWI game). that would be nice change.

There is so much to improve on with each new game in the series such as graphics, story gameplay, and online gameplay. They realized that people enjoyed the world war series games and so they came back to the Paciffic Campagain (which is in no way a repetition of CoD3 and CoD2 which were about the European Campaign) after CoD4.
