Do you prefer the traditional green christmas trees or would you go for a modern white or black tree?

Hey thanks for the response. I have to say the responses on here are surprising me a little - I've seen some really cool looking white and blackk trees...maybe I'm the only one that likes them! I'll have to wait for more responses on here to see what other people think.

I used to think the same way. But this year I have seen some really nice fake black and white christmas trees. Not sure which ones you have seen, but I didn't they look too tacky. In fact they look quite modern and so I am a little confused about what colour to go for now!

I like the traditional green Christmas treess but I also think the white ones are beauftiul I would never get a black tree though that seems depressing. I got a green pre lit tree this year as I hate stringing lights around a tree so hopefully it will look pretty.

The color of our christmas tree is green. If i will buy a new one, i would still choose the color green, it really represents the color of the real pine trees. I've seen white christmas tree at the mall, haven't seen a black one. No matter what color is your tree, it's really how you decorate your christmas tree that looks more even lovely.

Thank you! Sometimes i dream of a White Christmas. I want to see a real christmas (pine) tree under a falling sparkling snow. So, maybe someday i'll take the white christmas tree, someday.

True, I agree. The green tree would look more 'real' and if thats the look you are going for then I guess green would be the right choice! But I also think that you are right in saying it's all about how you decorate it!!

I do prefer having a traditional christmas tree which is green and we put it in the living room. Whereas I do have a pink christmas tree in my bedroom as mostly of my stuffs in my room are coloured or a combination of pink as it is my favorite color. I have tried a white christmas tree but like the pink one better. I haven't seen a black christmas tree though, maybe I didn't look enough.

Do you mean that you have a real tree or a fake green one? I think maybe black trees are more widely available in the UK, I have seen lots of them here in the shops but many people on here from other countries have said they have never seen one...

My family usually rocks the traditional green chrismas tree but I would like to see a black one. Black's my favorite color and it would be cool to see a black tree.

I am a traditionalist, therefore a black/white tree would not fit into my program!Memories of Christmas, are of the family gathering to get the tree, getting the tree was part of the Xmas celebration! In my simple mind, black is not a color I associate with joy, happiness & vibrancy! There are just some traditions that I don't like to change and one is a "green Christmas tree!" Have a great day, Uk!

I am very traditional when it comes to things like celebrating holidays. I always prefer a green tree, a real one.
