What will the world be like without lies?

Hi dear well to answer ur Title, i would say World would be "UTOPIA" with out lies. White lies is some thing differnt and hiding facts are differnt thing, trust me if we speak truth, it might be painful at start or sound bitter but its best to avoid later on MAJOR problems. if ur parents know u r having bad time, they might feel sad but they will help u to come out of it. So its advantage of Truth Take care

Hello! The world without lies wouldn't be much different. It would just be transparent. People would know what people are doing, and when you find out that somebody is cheating on you you would get enraged. This would make some people life's better, while making others worst. People would kill more, but some would also be able to recover from heart breaks faster. But basically, it would be the same thing. Lies are useless, after all. There is no need to lie for those who you love, no matter what is the situation you are in. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

I think it would be a great thing but I also think that ppl would have to develop thicker skin b/c there would be alot of ppl getting their feelings hurt. Lies are lies...if they didnt exsist at all...it would have been good in one way that the world would be clean without any corruption.But there are some unavoidable situations where one can't go without lying. They are for the benefits of someone so also can't be called bad or sin. So better or worse can't be said clearly, good in some ways and bad according to others.

What you had made is a small circle...... We are fully drenched in sea of lie..... we cannot escape from lie.... I am not separating white lie and black lie...... But, without lie, nothing in this world will be interesting and thrilling....

Hey D.T. A world without lies would be a sad world for me indeed. Had it not been for some very artistic lies and deception, I never would have gotten pregnant with my daughter and she is the absolute light in my world. Her biodad's lies provide me with much entertainment and I can't wait to see what lies he tells the judge when he drags me to court in a couple of months, trying to take her away from me. From what other women in my position have told me, the judge has heard all of the lies before, but it's all new to me so I still find them funny. Happy MyLotting!

I think a world without lies is much worse.. MOst ple will lie in order to gain advantage of things, or even get themselves out of trouble.. Also, we tell lies to reassure our loved ones so that they need not worry.. Lies can be both good and bad depending on how we use it, and using it for what purpose. If one were to lie, just to take advantage, then of course, that's not good. After all, some lies are said just to mginle around with ple, boost their own confidence.. Thus lie is not a bad thing after all, especially when it can help ple ^_^ hehe

I think it would be very weird. Sometimes little white lies make for polite society. I do wish, though, when someone tried to get a public office they would have to wear a device that forced them to tell the truth until they went back to private life.

Worse as we wouldn't be able to tell those little white lies that make people happy

Well, I think our world will have a peace and order that people always wishing for.. Our world will be dull and boring because you don't have enemy or there's no more horrible or terrible news of killing with each other.. I think our life will be very dull and boring since we live our life with so much kindness and we might die earlier.. As what others say, "when you are so kind or too good, God will get you right away"... We live our life in very peaceful way.. We have a clean conscience and peaceful mind..

Yes what will the world be when there is no lies? Its a good discussion, yes we have to lie in front of our parents sometimes to hide our sorrows. If we were straight forward then there might be more sorrows. Even my daughter lies with me for some sort of work to be completed by her and if not done she will lie that she had most important task ws pending and she had completed that and kept this work pending and so on. What a world if there is no lies, well it looks good and almost perfect and liar hates Lord so what a good to see a world. Everybody lives happily no one make bad and no heartache. The world become better if the situation is that no lies anymore. and I love the world to be like that. A peaceful world for us. We are not arguing and everyone loves each other because they will express their feelings truthfully.

Sometimes, lies makes things easy. We do lies sometimes though we do not want to because we do know that it is bad whether we sometimes called that as white lies. But we can't help but to make it again and again. World without lies I think will be a dull one.

If everything had to be the truth and reality it might not be so nice in life. You're right about some white lies and let me add to those the fantasies we believe. If we don't believe in what is real the magic in life is somewhat incomplete. As a magician it is necessary in our job to sometimes bend the truth for the magical experience. I just would like to clear that lies are different from what is not real or true. Just like magic we could believe what is not true but it isn't necessarily a lie.

then everybody would be saint, and we would miss fun and mystery i guess lies are ok, only if you are not hiding something very horrible

I despise lying, so I would enjoy a world where everyone told the truth. It would take some getting used, and some feelings may be hurt, but it save pain in the long run. Even little lies can be harmful.

I agree with you on this.. being honest at all times doesnt help.. I lie most of the times when I feel that others would benefit from it... I hide truth from the same reason.. If being honest can bring sorrows so what's the point of that truth..

I think honesty is the best policy. In the past, I have been guilty of using lies to try to make life easier, but in the end, it only makes it harder. Who needs that? Life is hard enough he way it is. My husband and I have made a promise to each other to always be honest with each other. Since we made that promise, we have a relationship that is so strong - of course we have the most powerful source on our side as well, God. We try to resist all of Satan's temptations, and although we are not perfect, life has been a lot easier for both of us since we are just telling the truth. I feel like a weight has been lifted - it's true what the saying says, you know - The truth says set you free!
