I was married 12 years ago, as I remembered me and my husband ordered for about 250 invitation cards. We have many relatives too. But since we were thinking about what was just right for the budget so we chose to invite those very near and close relatives of only, close friends and the sponsors. It was held at one of the biggest hotels in our place. So we really have to invite just enough to fill in the venue. But I guess whether we will have a thousands of visitors in our wedding if our feelings for each other is not genuine love, it is still useless. What matters most in marriage is the two of you together after the wedding ceremony.Because after all the preparations, money and time, it will only takes up to 2 to 3 hours to celebrate it.

hi,
we printed almost 1500 cards , you see my wedding was 13 years after the last wedding in my family .. and 12 years after a wedding in my husbands side .. there were many people who were waiting eagerly for my wedding (me and husband were together for 14 years before getting married)
So my family got 500 cards , his family got 500 cards and both of us had 500 cards ...
the best part we had 3 dinner ( 1 in my parents house) 1 (his parents house) and 1 at our working city ....
cheers

well i dont think i have too many relatives..or rather i dont know all my relatives and i hope not to know them too.... as im not a very relative friendly person...and as for friends i have always had very few friends....few but very close friends rather than having too many friends, so many that you wouldnt even rememeber them after a while when they actually turn up for your wedding....and i want to have my wedding in a nice small church in a beautiful location far away from the city somewhere in teh countryside and with very few people around me as i hate crowds...only the people i really care about would be there...

hmmm
i think you are a reserved person
i am also reserved
but i wanna make my wedding a grand one
once in lifetime so has to be remembered forever
its not that simple marriages are not remembered
just my wish to get married like that
thanks for sharing your opinion
