I only use my cellphone/mobile phone for texting and for when I am out in the car for emergency purposes in case I break down so my phones tend to last, I wont change my phone unless the battery runs out or it breaks, so they last me ages! I always choose Nokia phones because they are user friendly and are very durable, reliable and is what I need in a phone

I usually wait every 2 years cause i can get one almost free with verizon's new in 2 program. By the end of the two years I am chomping at the bit to get a new one. It beats paying full price.

For me, I don't really change my phone very often. I recently changed my phone because I am going to the army soon and they don't allow camera phone. Otherwise, I will be saving up to buy a smartphone. Something like an iPhone or Sony Ericsson X1. They don't come cheap, so I think I will wait and see for now.
Phones are improving at such a tremendous pace, it is quite easy for new phones to be outdated in a couple of months.

I usually don't intentally change it. Last time my son broke my phone so I had no choice. This time my phone is messing up on me. My last phone I had for four months. This one I have had for six months.
