I will be out of a job soon, I can draw unemployment for an average of 26 weeks, if I attend school I can draw for a total of 2 years. Before you are enrolled in school they give you a placement test in this test I will have basic math. I have to brush up on my basic math.
Do you know of any sites on the internet that I can use to help me with this basic math? I need a refreshment course, it has been ages since I was in school.

I have no idea what so ever, but maths is something I am very bad at. So if you find a very good site could you either pm me about it or better still make a new discussion so we all know where to go and look, because like me I'm sure there are lots of us on mylot who would be interested in doing that.
Good discussion, hope you find some info to pass on to us all.

I am sure that you could find math books in almost any book store.. I do believe that I have seen them before.. We have been trying to talk our son into going back to school to learn something in the medical field, there is almost always good money there.. One of our local hospitals will help you pay for your schooling after one year of working for them, so that would be great.. Good luck to you in whatever you choose to do..
